About Trueman Taylor

Ven. Trueman Taylor's journey into Zen Buddhism began with Roshi Philip Kapleau's "The Three Pillars of Zen." After university, he pursued full-time residential training at the Rochester Zen Center in New York under Roshi Bodhin Kjolhede. Ordained as a Zen Buddhist priest in 2008, he now serves as the "Head of Zendo" at the Center. Trueman oversees training, participates in sesshin, and manages day-to-day activities. He also provides Private Instruction and leads sesshin, continuing to deepen his practice and guide others on their spiritual paths.
