About Tung Lin Kok Yuen Canada Society

Mr. Robert H. N. Ho, grandson of Tung Lin Kok Yuen’s founder Lady Clara Lin-kok, realized her vision of expanding Buddhist education internationally by establishing Tung Lin Kok Yuen, Canada Society in Vancouver in 1994. As Honorary Chairman, Mr. Ho oversaw the creation of a two-story facility with comprehensive traditional and modern teaching amenities. The Society offers a range of activities, including Buddhist lectures, rituals, and diverse classes, fostering a strong Buddhist community. In 2001, it expanded to include Lin Kok Manor, a Seniors Lodge providing care and activities for the elderly.
