About Yangten Rinpoche

Born in Tibet in 1978, Yangten Rinpoche is the recognized reincarnation of the previous Yangteng Rinpoche. After leaving Tibet at 10, he pursued traditional Tibetan monastic education in India. He completed his Geshe Lharampa degree in 2006 and excelled in Tantrayana studies. Currently serving at the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Rinpoche oversees the Monastic Ordination Section, compiles the Dalai Lama's writings, and provides reviews on Buddhism during public teachings.
