The Tibetan Nuns Project (TNP), a US-based charity with offices in Seattle and Himachal Pradesh, India, is asking for donations to help build housing and other living necessities for the Buddhist nuns of Dolma Ling Nunnery and Institute of Buddhist Dialectics in northern India.
The TNP is striving to construct 16 rooms and amenities at Dolma Ling Nunnery to give geshemas access to the necessary education to become fully certified instructors of their faith.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama opened Dolma Ling Nunnery and Institute of Buddhist Dialectics in 2005 in the Kangra Valley near Dharamsala in India.
This is the first institute for higher Buddhist education for Tibetan Buddhist nuns from all traditions, and it is funded entirely by the Tibetan Nuns Project.
