Description
Brahmavihara Dhamma is written by Venerable Mahasi Sayadaw. Mahsi Sayadaw was born in the Upper Burmese hamlet of Seikkhun in 1904. At the age of twelve, he became a novice, and at the age of twenty, he was ordained as Sobhana.
He passed the difficult set of government tests in the Theravda Buddhist literature over the course of decades of study, earning the newly created Dhammcariya degree in 1941.
