This is Kalachakra Mandala orange thangka. Handpainted in Nepal. With 24 carat gold.The Kalachakra system is one of the last and complex tantric systems in Tibet. In recent years many Westerners have become enlightened with this tradition. It is similar to the notion of space, which does not signify a particular direction or limitation. It represents the omniscience. In the painting, there are two outer concentric circles. In the center, there is a floor and temples like structures, which represents the space or universe.
