Iconography of Manjushri
Manjushri is the Bodhisattva of wisdom, wielding a flaming sword in his left hand as a warning of the dangers of ignorance and wrong view. His right hand is depicted holding the stem of a Blue Lotus flower, on which rests the Book of Perfection of Transcendental Wisdom, symbolizing his teaching of enlightenment.
