Description
The Buddhas Teaching In His Own Words is translated by Bhikkhu Nanamoli. The Life of the Buddha according to the Pali Canon by Bhikkhu Nanmoli is included in this Wheel booklet as Chapter 12. The goal of that book which has been in print for 27 years, was to piece together a biography of the Buddha from all of the essential material strewn throughout the Vinaya and Sutta Pitakas.
Ven. Nanamoli had included an anthology of writings dealing with the teaching in the middle of the book, which he labeled The Doctrine because the Buddha’s life was in many ways inseparable from his teaching.
