23 meters Thangka Applique showcased at Khachoe Ghakyil Ling in Nepal

On December 16, 2023, at Khachoe Ghakyil Ling (Kopan Nunnery) it was the eighth year in a row that a large of , also known as , was displayed.

The stunning thangka, measuring 75 feet (23 meters) in height and 87 feet (27 meters) in width, showcases the Padmasambhava merit field at its core through the use of stitched appliqué.

Alongside this display, a special ceremony called Bumtsog, involving an auspicious of 100,000 tsog, was conducted.

The event was attended by esteemed individuals such as Chokyi Nyima , Khenrinpoche Chonyi, Thame , other members, Kopan and nuns, as well as local lay people.

During the ceremony, prayers were offered for the well-being of all beings, the swift return of Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche, the fulfillment of his holy wishes, and global .
