Interview with IMS Teacher Raquel Baetz and Roxanne Dault
Roxanne Dault has been a devoted practitioner of meditation for close to 20 years, attending intensive retreats both in the East and in the West. She is an alumnus of the IMS Teacher Training Program and instructs meditation in Canada, the USA, and France.
Roxanne, a Guiding Teacher from True North Insight, is based in Tiohti:áke (Montréal).
Her teachings are rooted in the Mahasi Sayadaw lineage, and she draws on her appreciation of nature and Indigenous wisdom for further inspiration.
Additionally, Roxanne has been trained in Somatic Experiencing®, a body-mind approach to help reduce trauma and stress.
She is fluent in French and English, and is currently learning Anishinaabemowin, the language of her ancestors.
In this interview with IMS Staff Writer Raquel Baetz, Roxanne emphasizes the significance of recognizing transformation both internally and externally, and how grasping the concept of impermanence can help us cultivate wisdom and compassion.
