Mindset Mastery with Kadam Andrew Crompton in Vienna
Kadampa Centers around the globe strive to arrange a variety of activities for their Sangha and the general public.
When a visitor instructor comes, it is usually an extraordinary event that brings life to the Center and shares knowledge with those present.
From September 22nd to 24th, 2023, Kadam Andrew Crompton, the resident teacher at KMC Ljubljana (Slovenia), gave a guest lecture called “Mindset Mastery” at KMC Austria in Vienna.
Drawing on Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book How to Understand the Mind, he explained the five object ascertaining mental factors, which provide insight into how our mind works during meditation and offer useful tips for enhancing the quality of meditation.
At the same period KMC Metz hosted Gen Kelsang Eupamé, National Spiritual Director of France, for a two-day special event.
On Sunday, a group of 42 people gathered to explore the concept of karma and how it can transform our lives. Later, some members of the sangha took the Pratimokṣa vows for the first time.
The day ended with a dinner at a nearby restaurant, where everyone had the chance to come together, tell stories, and enjoy the view of the “Centre Pompidou” art museum.
