Holy Relics to be taken from India to Thailand for exposition
In a historic event, the revered relics of Lord Buddha and his disciples, Arahata Śāriputra and Arahata Maudgalyayana, will journey to Thailand for the first time.
Led by a 22-member delegation, including dignitaries and scholars, this 26-day exposition aims to strengthen cultural ties between India and Thailand.
Organized with support from various government bodies and organizations, the relics will be housed at the National Museum in Bangkok and showcased at several venues across Thailand.
The journey begins with a grand ceremony upon their arrival on February 22nd, followed by exhibitions and talks on Buddhist heritage.
This sacred expedition, culminating on March 19th, marks a significant milestone in fostering spiritual connections and cultural understanding between the two nations.
