Inauguration of the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies in Sri Lanka

The University of Kelaniya’s Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Studies celebrated the inauguration of its new building on with Sri Lanka’s President Ranil Wickremesinghe in attendance.

Alongside esteemed guests such as ministers and ambassadors, President Wickremesinghe emphasized the significance of nurturing an society for economic strength.

He also recognized Prof. K.L. Dhammajoti, a founding teacher, for his invaluable contributions.

The president underscored Sri Lanka’s role in advancing and announced plans for a global research institute dedicated to its promotion.
