Thailand’s International Buddhist College for the good of the many
The International Buddhist College (IBC) in Thailand’s Songkhla province stands as a beacon of Buddhist education, offering comprehensive programs in Buddhist Studies.
Established in 2005 by the visionary Venerable Dr. Wei Wu, IBC has become renowned for its commitment to providing quality education in a spiritually dedicated, non-sectarian, and modern environment.
Under Dr. Wei Wu’s leadership, the institution offers Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Doctor of Philosophy programs in Buddhist Studies, taught by expert academicians in both English and Chinese.
IBC’s mission encompasses three key visions: delivering quality Buddhist education internationally, promoting understanding of diverse Buddhist traditions, and integrating spiritual values with academic rigor.
Embodying its motto “Bahunnaṃ Vata Atthāya” (For the Good of the Many), IBC strives for global peace and welfare.
Supported by the Than Hsiang Foundation in Malaysia, IBC provides scholarships for both monastic and lay students, covering tuition, meals, and accommodations.
