The 18th International Sakyadhita Conference

This year’s annual event, which attracted 3,000 women, highlighted the attention to detail that had been put into it with an unexpected feature.

Every day of the conference started with a session at Bongeunsa , followed by a delicious breakfast cooked by some of the country’s most acclaimed temple chefs.

After that, women (and a few men speaking on behalf of their absent female colleagues) from all over the world presented their at the COEX conference center, discussing the struggles and difficulties they faced.

The presentations were then followed by lunch, another plenary, a tea break, another plenary, chanting, and finally a practice-oriented or cultural program.
