The Saturday festivities began with the Wishfulfilling Jewel puja, a gathering of Kadampa practitioners in prayer and meditation to bless the environment.
Later in the day, Gen Kelsang Lochani presided over a special Green Tara Empowerment ceremony, which included words of wisdom from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
On Sunday, we celebrated the International Temple Project for World Peace in honor of our beloved teacher, Venerable Geshe-la, and shared his vision of peace.
The weekend was a sight to behold, a tranquil and harmonious atmosphere that marked the start of a new area for classes, workshops, courses, and retreats to help people find inner peace and knowledge to tackle the difficulties of today.
