About Domo Geshe Rinpoche

Geshe Ngawang Kalsang, later known as, Domo Geshe Rinpoche is a Geluk tradition reincarnate Lama of Tibetan Buddhism. The lineage includes Je Pabongka Rinpoche, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, and Geshe Jampa Chombe.

The word is used in the context of Tibetan Buddhism as a way of showing respect when addressing those recognized as reincarnated, older, respected, notable, learned and/or an accomplished Lamas .
