Breaking free from old knowledge to gain clarity

In a teaching from 2008, Thich Nhat Hanh discussed the importance of releasing inflexible beliefs.

He argues that the view of Buddhism should progress because love, understanding, and wisdom are limitless.

Thich Nhat Hanh suggests that our current understanding may be outdated and that the mind is the most important instrument in Buddhism.

By purifying the mind and removing negative emotions, one can gain deep insights and clarity.

Without a right view, ethics cannot be practiced.
