Dalai Lama Addressing U-tsang Delegates

On July 31, 2023, His Holiness the Dalai Lama left his home in Shewatsel, Leh, Ladakh, India and drove to the Kalachakra Temple at the end of the teaching ground.
There, a group of monks from several nearby monasteries, including Samten Ling, Spituk, Rizong, Likir and Zanskar, were performing a Kalachakra ritual.
In front of them hung an old thangka painting of Kalachakra and a mandala had been painted in the mandala pavilion.
After saluting these and the statue of the Buddha, His Holiness took his seat with the monks and joined in their chanting.
