Holy Objects Waiting for the Buddha Hall

Ven. Pema had commissioned classical thangka painters in Nepal to create paintings of Arya Tara, and the framed pieces have now been returned from the frame shop.
The Abbey’s new Buddha Hall will have a special room dedicated to this beloved figure in Tibetan Buddhism, who is seen as the manifestation of the buddhas’ enlightened activity.
The Taras were temporarily displayed in the Cherenzig Hall dining area before being carefully put away until the Tara Room, which will be a smaller practice and teaching area adjacent to the Buddha Hall’s primary hall, is finished.
