The Sonoma Valley Museum of Art in northern California will host an exhibition called Different Worlds by Tsherin Sherpa, a Nepalese artist.
This exhibition, which opens on 20 January and includes a reception on 27 January, will feature Sherpa’s unique combination of traditional and contemporary art styles from both the East and the West.
Tsherin Sherpa was born in Kathmandu and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1998.
His art was influenced by his experiences as part of the Himalayan diaspora and his training in thangka painting.
