About Huimin Bhikshu

Venerable Bhiksu Huimin is a professor at Taipei National University of the Arts and the president of the Dharma Drum Institute of Liberal Arts. He was born in Taiwan in 1954 and ordained in 1979. He earned his PhD from the University of Tokyo in 1992 and has been the abbot of Seeland Monastery since 1998. He is also the Chair of the Chinese Buddhist Electronic Text Association. Currently, he is leading two projects funded by the National Science Council of Taiwan.
