About Nanda

Nanda, the Buddha's half-brother, was initially a prince engaged to be married. After the Buddha's visit and invitation, Nanda renounced his royal life and joined the monastic order. Though initially struggling with his attachment to worldly pleasures, under the Buddha's guidance, he achieved enlightenment. Nanda's story exemplifies the transformative power of the Buddha's teachings and the potential for anyone, regardless of initial resistance, to attain spiritual liberation.
