About Sarwang Parikh

Sarwang was raised in a Hindu Indian culture and has been practicing yoga and meditation within the Theravadan Buddhist tradition for over a dozen years. 

He is a psychotherapist in the San Francisco Bay Area, primarily serving youth and people of color, and has been doing so for the same amount of time. 

Additionally, he teaches mindfulness in schools and organizations with the aim of promoting social-emotional wellness. He is a founding team member of the Bay Area mindfulness non-profit, Seeds of Awareness, and a community teacher for teens and adults at the East Bay Meditation Center.
