Sunshine, air, clear space, beauty, trees. . .

Beautiful nature is all of these,

It is the source of these.

So we describe beautiful reality —

We call this Shambala, heaven, Prajna paramita,

    By any names, reality or source;

    Beautiful heaven,

We call and search for this —

We create this with our words and hopes.

We search for this and create this,

In our perfect moments of peace,

In our beautiful times of joy

    We always aspire for this.

    Harmony, peace and bliss.

    Perfect happiness.

Generosity or giving — dana — this is one of the six perfections.

This is a very important one — what this means is that one does not have any possessions which one would not give away.

The perfection of giving is when one would give one’s very life to help another being.

And yet — Prajna paramitam teaches that one will never come to harm….

So if one has Perfect Wisdom, one will never come to harm.

It has been written, the perfection of giving is that one doesn’t accumulate anything one wouldn’t give away.

For monks living in the forest, all of these things are experienced quite literally.

One does not have any possessions. . . and one lives meditating.

This is an aspect of Bodhisattva conduct.

This is one of the most important qualities because — the more that we give freely, the more our merit becomes; the more we do not give but remain stingy — the less our merit…

To give Metta or knowledge, is more substantial than to give material items.

Both fall under the category of generosity —

When giving is done with Prajna and other perfections; — this is then a way of enlightenment.

One can give something, material or non-material — when this is done from perfect wisdom, one is also giving a perfect blessing.

This is the type of perfection which helps in every way — protection, health, happiness — so many others.

All can be given this way.

Perfection of wisdom has knowledge of all dharmas. It’s referring mostly to the spiritual aspect; but it also includes world.

Prajna or wisdom, has many aspects…. it means one is safe..

Aspect of it means that one is safe in any place, all circumstance..

Other perfections are Effort, Discipline, Patience, Insight and Generosity.

Patience is a very good one; if one meets someone who has patience (Ksanti) perfected… it’s a great blessing..

Effort is an important perfection… This is like, one does not remove the effort for enlightenment; nor for metta for living beings…

One can continue this way… This is the normal way to be…

Perfection of effort — one will take the right path, and there is no lethargy…

This is also helped by discipline.

This is also helpful to awakening….

Generosity is a good perfection; this is both material gifts, Loving-kindness and also knowledge.

When one has Wisdom completely, one can give knowledge and enlghten.
