Dharma House Lisbon to Open in April
Dharma House Lisbon, a forthcoming Buddhist center in the Portuguese capital associated with the global network of Dharma activities initiated by Dzogchen master Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, is set to host its inaugural teaching session in April.
Renowned Buddhist scholar Khenpo Pema Namgyal will lead the two-day seminar titled “The Four Truths of the Noble Ones.”
Khenpo Pema Namgyal, a respected professor of Buddhist philosophy at Kathmandu’s Rangjung Yeshe Institute, and a trusted aide to Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, will deliver the teachings.
Khenpo is known for his profound understanding of Buddhist texts and serves as a senior monk at the Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery in Kathmandu.
Shedrub, the online representation of Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche’s global sangha, expressed excitement over Khenpo Pema Namgyal’s visit, anticipating his seminar to lay the groundwork for further teachings by Rinpoche himself.
The establishment of Dharma House Lisbon aims to provide an authentic space for practitioners to receive teachings and engage in meditation practices within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
With the arrival of Khenpo Pema Namgyal, the center anticipates a significant step forward in fulfilling its vision under the guidance of Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche’s lineage.
