Living, Dying, and Beyond with Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche
The Tergar Meditation Community, under the guidance of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, is organizing an online retreat from March 15th to 17th.
Themed “Living, Dying, and Beyond: Mahamudra Wisdom for the Bardo States,” the retreat focuses on Vajrayana Buddhism’s perspective on transitions like living and dying as opportunities for awakening.
According to Tergar, these transitional stages, known as “bardos,” offer a unique chance to realize enlightenment in the present moment.
Exploring bardo practices, participants will learn to embrace awareness during life and death transitions, blurring the distinction between the two.
By understanding the parallels between small deaths in daily life and the ultimate transition of death, individuals can reconnect with their true selves by resting in awareness.
This retreat delves into Mahamudra teachings, emphasizing the discovery of Buddha nature within one’s mind.
