Vajrayogini is a female tantric deity in Vajrayana Buddhism.
She is a fully enlightened buddha, and is considered to be the embodiment of the ultimate wisdom of all the buddhas.
She is associated with the mandala of the Five Wisdom Dakinis, and is said to bring about transformation and liberation.
The five-day Drupchö (extensive prayer ceremony) for Vajrayogini is an important event in Vajrayana Buddhism, and will be held at Ayang Rinpoche’s monastery in Bylakuppe, India, from August 22-26, 2021.
During this ritual, practitioners will recite mantras, make offerings, and meditate on Vajrayogini’s mandala in order to purify their minds and attain enlightenment.
