About Anger

From a Dharma perspective, anger is a destructive mental state arising from aversion and frustration when one's desires or expectations are unmet. It manifests as hostility, resentment, or irritation and leads to suffering by clouding judgment and prompting harmful actions. Anger disrupts inner peace, damages relationships, and perpetuates negative karma. It obstructs spiritual growth by reinforcing ego and attachment, preventing the development of compassion and wisdom essential for enlightenment and true liberation.
