About Arhat

Buddhist saints representing the earliest followers of the Buddha, always found in a group of sixteen, they are often painted on cloth, murals, and constructed of metal, stone, and wood. In China, they are called Lohan and are commonly referred to as a group of eighteen or five hundred.
