Embodying Awareness: Daylong Mindfulness Meditation Retreat
You are cordially invited to join Dawn Neal for a day of practice that will help foster and nurture mindful awareness through ongoing guidance and instruction.
Dawn Neal is an insight practitioner, professional interfaith chaplain, and current IMC Dharma teacher trainee. She has devoted over two years to silent retreat practice since 2005.
Periods of sitting and walking meditation will be alternated, and guidance on mindfulness techniques such as breathing, body awareness, emotional regulation, thought observation, and choiceless receptivity will be provided.
This is suitable for individuals who have had prior experience with meditation and have taken a basic mindfulness meditation class or something similar, as well as those with more advanced knowledge.
