Khyentse Norbu to Give Public Teaching in Hong Kong
The Khyentse Foundation, established by the well-known Bhutanese lama, filmmaker, and writer Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, has revealed that Rinpoche will be conducting a virtual public teaching from Hong Kong this week.
The teaching will focus on the subject of “Mind Training.”
According to an announcement from the Khyentse Foundation, Khyentse Norbu is scheduled to deliver a one-hour online lecture for the Centre for the Study of Chan Buddhism and Human Civilization at The Chinese University of Hong Kong on January 17th at 4 p.m. local time.
The Khyentse Foundation, established by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche in 2001, is a non-profit organization that seeks to advance the teachings of Buddha and provide assistance to various Buddhist traditions.
The foundation undertakes various initiatives such as preserving and translating important texts, supporting monastic colleges in Asia, offering scholarships and awards globally, promoting Buddhist studies at universities, training Buddhist teachers, and creating innovative educational approaches for children inspired by the teachings of Dharma.
