Plan for a meditation center and gardens at Ramagrama Stupa in Nepal
Stefano Boeri Architetti, an architectural studio from Italy, has revealed its impressive plan for a meditation center and gardens at Ramagrama Stupa in Nepal, which is a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site.
The architect has designed a comprehensive plan for the center that incorporates a spacious Peace Meadow surrounding the revered Bodhi tree.
This area is encircled by a Biodiversity Ring Garden, which includes a sizable space for gatherings and meditation that can accommodate a large number of monastics.
The primary feature of the planned site, Peace Meadow, is a large circular area measuring 600 meters in diameter.
It consists of a wide grassy lawn that has been designed to resemble a mandala, which is a geometric symbol representing the spiritual universe.
The purpose of this design is to promote reflection and mindfulness in the cultural areas surrounding it.
